My name is Sandra, and I love to sew.
I used to make Wedding Dresses, then I took a break from sewing for about 12 years, then 3 years ago I decided to get my sewing machine out again, but this time I turned to Patchwork and Quilting, and small craft items such as bags, purses etc.
Also, recently I have made memory bears for friends using garments once worn by a loved one who has sadly passed away.
In the early days of lockdown, I joined the Norfolk Scrubs Volunteers group, and made many sets of scrubs for the NHS, and other members of the caring profession.
For as long as I can remember I have had a love for fabric and wool to create something both pretty and practical giving them away to friends and family, I them decided to try my luck at craft fairs and that is how Monica May Gifts & Homeware was created.
I have been interested in crafts since 1987 but only became interested in photography about 8 years ago. I am self-taught and like to stylize photos by adding my own personal twist.
I live in West Norfolk and near the coast, so I find inspiration for my photography in the sometimes wild and windy landscape of Norfolk and its coast.
My Pendant scarves are very popular and come in a variety of colours and patterns.
